My husband Michael enjoys being outdoors, and a friend of his (Chance) decided he was going to hike the Pacific Crest Trail this summer. For those not familiar with the Pacific Crest Trail and what it is all about – it spans 2,650 miles (4,265 kilometers) from Mexico to Canada through California, Oregon, and Washington. He will be hiking from Mid-April – September if all goes well. That is a long time.
